Living Happy even with RA

It’s encouraging to meet other people who have Rheumatoid Arthritis.  First of all, it’s refreshing to talk with someone who knows what I’m experiencing.  Second, there is so much we can learn from one another!

Yesterday I spoke with someone who was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 7 years ago.  We talked about many things–diet, medications, doctors, fatigue. . .

But here’s my ray of hope I walked away with:

She said the first 2 years were the hardest.  It took her that long just to get used to having RA.  They were also the most painful.  Now she’s “living happy” — she’s found the right dosage of medication that works for her, she better understands her body, life is good.

I just finished my first two years.  I know every case is different, but if things look up from here, that’s good news for me!
